DIS named as one of Europe's very best engineering workplaces – again!
For the second consecutive year, the engineering and development company DIS is once again recognized as one of Europe's very best engineering workplaces by Great Place to Work®
This year’s award ceremony for Europe’s greatest place to work has just taken place in Athens, where the engineering and development company DIS came in third as Europe's best engineering workplace. First place went to French Zenika and second place to Iterio from Sweden.
More than 1.6 million employees from 2,800 companies across Europe participated in “Europe’s Greatest Workplace” based on Great Place to Work’s definition of a good workplace as a place where the employees trust management, take pride in their work and have a strong sense of belonging with their colleagues. To uncover the level of trust, pride and sense of belonging, all employees must fill in an online survey.
- It is our employees, who have expressed their opinion about DIS, and the fact that this is the second consecutive year we are awarded one of Europe’s best places to work as an engineer makes me extra proud. We have succeeded in creating a workplace with satisfied employees, who all contribute to the very special work culture we are known for, and where we with our skilled employees provide our customers daily with high quality services and where we continue to attract the most competent engineers, says Michael Gadeberg, CEO and partner at DIS.
The main reason why Great Place to Work has awarded DIS as one of the very best places to work in Europe, is the general well-being of the employees, which is particularly evident in the area concerning sense of belonging and the retention of a unique company work culture.
DIS is represented in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom and USA, has a total of 18 departments worldwide and employs more than 500 engineers.
