DIS is Denmark’s Greatest Place to Work as an Engineer
DIS has been named the greatest place to work as an engineer in Denmark.
This year’s competition to find the best places to work in Denmark has just taken place, and DIS was voted Denmark’s greatest place to work as an engineer and placed 6th in the overall category for medium-seized workplaces. It is the first time DIS participates in this employee-based survey, which is conducted by the consulting company Great Place to Work.
More than 125 companies participated in this year’s competition to find the best places to work in Denmark. It is based on Great Place to Work’s definition of a great workplace, where employees trust management, are proud of their work and feel connected to their colleagues. In order to define the level of trust, pride and sense of community an employee survey is conducted where all employees are invited to participate. In addition, the workplace completes a so-called culture profile, which identifies a number of facts about the workplace as well as some open issues, which provide Great Place to Work with an insight into the culture at the workplace.
- It is rarely seen that workplaces who participate in the survey for the first time place in the top 10 ranking. One of the reasons why Great Place to Work has named DIS as one of Denmark’s greatest places to work is that the company has a high level of employee satisfaction and excels when it comes to employee development, says Liselotte Jensen, vice president at Great Place to Work.
The results of the survey show that DIS is the only engineering company among the top 10 companies.
- Over the past months, we have won many important awards and have received several nominations, but to me the Great Place to Work survey tops them all, because it is our employees who have had the opportunity to rate us. The results of the survey provide us with topics we can work on for the time to come, so that we can continue to retain and attract the very best employees. It is essential to us that our employees are happy and satisfied, as it is our employees who ensure that we always deliver the right solutions and the highest quality to our customers, says Michael Gadeberg, CEO and partner at DIS.
