In the spring of 2013 Nilfisk Egholm chose to collaborate with DIS to have new eyes on the design of the rear mudguard for the cab. This collaboration proved to create new production opportunities for Nilfisk Egholm.
Nilfisk Egholm had had some problems with the adjustment of a glass fibre rear mudguard for their City Ranger 2250 which did not live up to the company’s quality standards. The problem laid in the mould. Because former casts were made of the existing rear mudguard, the standards of tolerance were not maintained.
To prevent this problem from continuing, DIS developed an upgraded design and also changed the structure of the rear mudguard produced in composite material. Amenable communication and inputs from key persons meant that it was possible for DIS to find the solutions that would benefit Nilfisk Egholm the most.
